Kråmyrane (Svein Nord)

In a wide valley bottom, about a kilometre toward the north in easy walking terrain and on a good trail from Gullbotnen, you will find Kråmyrane. The large bog surface, with its fine alternations between water, streams and scattered forest, is a niche for many otherwise quite finicky plant species. Since the groundwater seeps out over the rocks, which contain much calcium, the plants thrive particularly well just here. Marsh arrowgrass, broad-leaved cottongrass, tawny sedge, and the rarer marsh clubmoss are among them.
